HOW TO TAKE YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS

Taking your own measurements is easy, especially with the help of a friend. Follow the easy instructions below.

 

SHOULDER
Place a cloth tape measure horizontally across the back of your shoulders, measuring the distance from one shoulder bone to the other.

BUST
Place a cloth tape measure horizontally around the fullest part of the bust, under the arms and across the lower shoulder blades, measuring the circumference.

BUST POINT
Place a cloth tape measure horizontally across the fullest part of the bust, measuring the distance from one point to the other.

WAIST
Place a cloth take measure horizontally around the smallest part of the natural waist, measuring the circumference.

HIP
Place a cloth tape measure horizontally around the body, approximately 3 to 4 inches below the smallest part of the natural waist, measuring the circumference.

LOWER HIP
Place a cloth tape measure horizontally around the body, approximately 8 to 9 inches below the smallest part of the natural waist, measuring the circumference.

FRONT SHOULDER TO WAIST
Place a cloth tape measure vertically in front, measuring the distance from the shoulder bone down to the Bust Point, then continue to measure down to the smallest part of the natural waist.

BACK SHOULDER TO WAIST
Place a cloth tape measure vertically in the back, measuring the distance from the shoulder bone down to the smallest part of the natural waist.

SLEEVE LENGTH
Place a cloth tape measure vertically across the entire length of the arm, measuring the distance from the shoulder bone down to 1 to 2 inches past the wrist bone.

PANT LENGTH
Place a cloth tape measure vertically across the entire side length of the legs, measuring the distance from the hip down to the ankle.
